The Apprentice School Foundation Announces the First 2021 Scholarship Winners
The first two of five 2021 scholarship awards were made in February 2021. Kaniqua Gray is an insulator apprentice from Charles City County while McKenna Hill is an outside machinist and hales from Suffolk. The Foundation plans to award three additional $500 scholarship during 2021 for apprentices admitted to The Apprentice School of Newport News Shipbuilding. The Apprentice School Foundation wishes Kaniqua and McKenna the very best in their apprenticeship as well as a long and prosperous career with Newport News Shipbuilding. Congratulations to the both of you!
